Teddy_Puddle Reflection

I took this photo when I went outside this afternoon looking for things to shoot photos of using my Nikon D3200. I used all natural lighting with no additional flash or enhanced lighting needed. I decided that it would be interesting if I had poured water on my driveway to create a reflection through the puddle of water on the asphalt. After several photos I took of the puddles I thought that this one was the best in particular for many reasons. The first thing that I like is the background, there isn't anything distracting that is around the area of the puddle, which allows the total focus towards the reflection. I also like that the depth of field in this photo is rather shallow and pulls in the right amount of content to create an interesting photo. I also like how the asphalt is blurred out completely on both the upper and lower parts of the photo, which creates a grayish blue tint to the black asphalt. I also like color options in this photo, the blue sky in the reflection compliments to the grayish blue tint of the unfocused asphalt, I also like how there are shades of reds, blacks, yellows, whites, browns, pinks, and tans in this photo also. I like how the sunlight is casting on the red house in the reflection, which allows a shadow casted from the corner of the house. I also like how you can see in the reflection the branches of tree needles from what looks to be a spruce tree. I also like how the sunlight casting in from the ceiling underneath the shingles creates a pinkish red tint to the white wooded panel ceiling, this adds another extra hint of quality to the photo. I think that with all of these things being said makes this photo much more interesting when mentioned and observed in this particular photo as opposed to a photo without much to say about it. Without all of these features it wouldn't be as interesting of a photo as it already is.
