I took this photo of some flowers growing on a bush in my neighborhood while I was on a walk this evening. I took this photo because I really like the textures of the flowers and I was glad I was able to capture them in the photo. I also like how the flowers are a simple white color, they are not overpowering with bright vibrant colors. I also like how the flowers look like raindrops falling down because the way they are positioned it looks like that and I think it adds more detail and depth to the photo. I cropped the photo because there were numerous distractions like the sidewalk pavement, leaves on the ground, and other flowers that were getting in the way of the photo.
I really like this photo for many reasons. First thing I like about in this photo is that the depth of field is medium because the whole front branch of flowers are in focus. It brings your eyes closer in the photo rather than looking out in the outer foreground and middle ground of the photo. I think the lighting in your photo is pretty good because the sunlight isn't casting down directly on the branch with flowers, because it keeps all of the natural colors and details intact rather than being washed out. I also like how the stems and branches on the flowers have a variety of different colors because it makes your photo have more variety and depth to your photo. I also like how the white flowers complement with the roots and stems that are attached to the petals. I also like this photo because it is cropped at a vertical angle because it allows your eyes to look up and down the photo rather than looking around the photo. It also helps you to not be distracted by other objects beside the flowers. I also like how smooth the colors are in this photo because it allows you to see the calm emotion of nature. The only things I would change about in this photo would be to show more of the top of the closest branch of flowers because the cut off branch at the top of the photo really catches your attention about whats above the upper branch of the plant. The other thing I would have changed in this photo would be to show more of the branches of flowers at behind the front branch of flowers because part of it is cut off. I think if you kept the left branch of flowers and some of the flowers that were cut off partially in the photo your photo would be a little bit more interesting and would have more depth to it. The last thing I would have changed would have been to crop the top frame of the photo because the upper branches that are a little bit blurry or fuzzy are a little bit distracting to look at because it makes it harder to focus on the flowers in the front. I think if you cropped the top frame with the fuzzy focused branches out your photo would be a little bit easier to look directly at the flowers. Other than that, keep up the good work.

I did not notice that the branches at the top were cut off and a bit distracting. I will look for that in the future when I take photos of plants. I also did not notice that it was fuzzy at the top I will keep that in mind. Thanks again for the feedback.

I like how the flowers in the front of the picture are in focus and the flowers in the back are out of focus. The only thing that I would have done different is try to not cut of parts of the flowers in the picture. Try to get the whole flower in the picture. Other then that nice work.

ReplyDeleteThe photo was good, the focus on this photo adds more depth of this photo, and because of the focus, I can see a lot of detail about the flowers, the light on this photo looks OK, but if you can turn a little bit bright that would be prefect, the photo is kind of dark for me, and on the bottom of the left, the flowers were kind of distracting, if you can also get rid of that, this photo would be better than before, anyway it is a good photo, keep up the good work.
