grace m. edge

I took this photo hanging over a bridge railing type thing at around 4 or 5 o'clock. The thing that caught my attention was the texture of the wood and the coloring of it too. The color shows that the wood is somewhat new with rain and snow and whatever else put pressure on the wood. This bridge is closed off to cars so I could get different angles of the bridge but I liked this one the most. There was a lot of leaves on the ground which created business and a lot of color. I think the leaves and the bridge contrast nicely though.

  1. I like the angle that you took this photo from, it allows the viewer to see the different textures in the wood and the leaves and branches as well. I also like how you were able to capture all the different textures in the wood there are multiple different scratches and grains in the wood. I also like the colors you were able to capture the different colors in the wood as well as the mold contrast nicely with the leaves on the other side of the photo. The only thing I would change is how dark the photo is at the bottom right of the photo. There are not many details and the darkness takes away from the photo, other than that good job.

    1. Thanks! I agree with the bottom right and since I cant make it lighter, might as well just crop it out? When I crop it out the photo is basically all trees and leaves though. I should have shifted over to avoid the dark spot.
