This is another picture that I might use for my next digital assignment. I like to the contrast of the white snow and the different shades of green grass. Another thing that I like about the the photo is that the crispness of the grass and snow. As well as how the grass pokes of the blanket of snow.
I also like the contrast between the snow and the grass. I think its cool how grass is poking out of the snow too. You did a pretty good job on this photo in my opinion
ReplyDeleteI really like this photo. I like this photo because of a number of things in this photo. The first thing that I like about it is as Juliana mentioned about the contrast in the photo, it is just right in this photo. I also like how you set up the position of the photo, having the bigger amount of snow on the grass to the left side of the photo makes an interesting look to the photo that is appealing to the viewer. I also like how when you captured this photo that you were able to capture a lot of great important detail in the photo. I like how you can see a ton of great amount of texture of the snow and grass. I also like the number of shades of green found in the grass of dark and light green, as well as yellows and browns from the dried out and dead areas of grass in the photo. Another thing that I also like about this photo is that there aren't any distractions in the background to take the attention away from the viewer of the photo. Another thing that I also like about this photo is that by not having a photo of the ground completely covered in snow enables the photo to represent a presence to the viewer that it appears to be near the end of the snow season and to begin the next season in time. Also by having this effect in the photo allows the photo to have the transitional effect on the viewer as well a chance to be able to show more elements and content in this photo as opposed to a photo without any variety or quality in it at all. I think that having all of these things in this one photo makes this photo great to look at, especially as a subject for a nature photo. I wouldn't change anything in this photo. Nice job and keep up the great work.
ReplyDeleteThe main things that I was aiming in this photo is the contrast in the green grass and the white snow, the texture between the two elements, and a very low amount of distraction in the photo itself. It was not until that you mentioned it that I saw the different shades of green and brown grass and gave more to the photo and the transitional effect that you mentioned as well.
DeleteI like how this photo doesn't have a specific set point of where the focus is, I agree with you that I like the crispiness of of the grass and snow and how good the focus is. I also love how there is no distractions. Great job
