I took this photo with my Nikon Coolpix L330, took this at school, which is indoor, as you can see, I didn't do any focus on the photo, only change some lights on this photo, when you see this photo, it throwing your attention to the way back of the photo and I think it is kind cool, the photo is very clean, which you can see lot of detail of this photo, some of you may think that the tree on the right is a little bit distracting, but for me it's not, it adds more depth of this photo actually. When you see this photo, the middle of the photo has lots of stuff, but the top and bottom doesn't like that, I kind like that, it looks better.
I like how the grass on Marian's side is a lot greener than the grass across the street. I think it could be taken as a metaphor for the grass is not always greener on the other side. Like you said the photo does pull the attention to the back of the photo and I think that although the tree on the side is kind of distracting, the branches push the focus to the back of the photo. I also like how you can tell what season it is based on the leafless trees and cloudy skies. The lighter color of the path to the door to Marian is a good contrast to the dark green on the grass. If this was my photo I would probably add a subject to focus the attention on but as a general landscape this looks good.
