ParkerY_possible photos for digital assignment

This is a photo that could be a possible choice for my late winter or early spring photo assignment. What I like about this photo is the amount of depth in the picture. As well as how the background is all crisp while all the grass that is in the foreground is all blurred out. Another thing that I like about the photo is that the amount of contrast in the green grass and trees and the white and grey color snow.

  1. I really like this photo. I like this photo for a number of reasons. The first thing I like about this photo is the positioning, I think the positioning of the camera in this photo was very interesting and it gives the photo a professional look to it. Another thing that I like about the positioning is how you laid the camera on the grass, having it like this creates the look of a landscape photo with a foreground, middle-ground, and background look to the photo which makes it look interesting to the viewer. I also like the color options in this photo of different shades of green from the grass, leaves, and bushes, the options of white in the photo are featured in the snow, the clouds and in the light posts, grays in the cement wall, in the clouds, tans, yellows in parts of the grass, on the barrier of the parking garage levels, and in the leaves as well as in the lights inside the garage, blues from the sky, and on the right corner of the wall, I like how the reds are found in the leaves, bushes, and reddish mulch on the ground. Having all of these varieties of colors mixed into these elements featured in this photo makes a great color combination and an interesting touch to the photo. I think without the combo mix it wouldn't be as interesting of a photo. I also like the lighting in this photo and that it isn't harsh or overexposed at all, which allows the photo to look interesting. I also like how when you captured this photo the positioning on the ground creates an effect to the photo of the parking garage which looks as if the garage is slanting upwards to the right of the photo and to the left it appears to be slanting downwards into the distance. Having the top right corner of the garage out of the view of the photo helps enable the effect to the viewer and doesn't take any important details out of the photo. The only thing that I would have changed about this photo would have been to have either turned the camera slightly to the right a bit or cropped the left corner a little to remove the telephone pole from the photo, it's a little bit distracting. I also would have tried to have gotten what appears to be a piece of paper on the grass out of the way of the photo to allow the attention to the garage and grass in the photo. Other than that it is a great photo. Keep up the great work.

    1. I was not paying any attentions to the yellow color in the building nor the telephone pole. I was looking the different grounds of space and different shades of green. As well as the lighting of the entire thing.

  2. I like the perspective of this photo. The shallow depth of field makes the close part blurry and highlight the building which is the main object of this photo. But if you can make the wide angle bigger, or leave farther away from the building which will not cut the building and make this photo looks better.

  4. I like this photo a lot, especially the focus, I can see the focus on this photo is the middle of the photo, the grass were not been focus but because of that it adds more depth on this photo and I really like it, the sky on the photo looks really good ,the color was really nice, and another thing I like was the building, the building on the left keeps going and keeps going , it just really awesome, really good photo, I like it, keep up the good work.
