I took this picture with my Nikon D40. This was the lake near my house. I was taking leftover pictures from winter. But I saw a good opportunity to get a nice shot. It took me a little while to get a good wide shot of the lake. The first couple of pictures that I took were to narrow. So I had to zoom out a lot more. I was also trying to get the sky in the picture I thought that the clouds would be a good touch. Also I didn't want there to be a reflection on the water, and nobody know what it was.
I like this photo because it is a wide shot where the water and the sky are almost the same color and the trees are the only thing that is a fully different color so it pops out more. The only thing that I would change is its tilt.
ReplyDeleteThank you for all the compliments. I did try to get a wide shot of area. I wanted to get a glare from the sky on the water, to make it a better photo. I was trying to get several trees in the background to get good diversity in the photo.

DeleteI really like this photo. I think this photo has a lot of potential to it. I like this photo for a number of reasons. The first thing that I really like about this photo is the lighting, there isn't anything to harsh or overexposed areas in this photo. Another thing that I like about this photo is that there aren't any major distractions in this photo to draw your attention away from the entire photo. Another thing that I like about this photo is the great amount of detail you were able to capture in this photo, I like how you were able to get a great amount of detail of the textured patterns of the water in the photo. I think that by capturing all of that detail of texture from the water really makes the photo very interesting to look at for a landscape photo. Another thing that I like about this photo is that the brightness of the sky was able to cast down onto the water and create waves and lines of light down the whole stream of the water, I think that is probably one of the most interesting components to the photo itself. I also like how you captured the bridge in the distance because it allows the photo to have a longer range of depth to the photo and gives the photo the ability of having a background in the distance to go along with a middle ground and foreground in the photo. Lastly I also like about this photo is the many different colors shown in this photo of blues, grays, blacks, greens, reds, browns, and whites in this photo. I think that having this wide selection of colors in this photo gives a great variety to the photo that makes an interesting look to photo. I think that without all of these things in this photo it wouldn't be as interesting of a photo as it already is. Keep up the great work, nice job.
ReplyDeleteI like this photo, the photo was really clean, no distracting, when I saw this photo, I feel like this photo was really cool, on the bottom of the is the river, and the top is the sky and cloud, but in the middle, trees, houses, lots of things going on there in the middle of the photo, it was really good, and because is the wide shot, so the color likes kind some, the only things I would like to change is the light of the photo, turn a little bit bright, the photo is kind a little bit dark, but anyway keep up the good work.
