I took this with my nikon 40. I have a lot of trees in my yard, so when all the leaves fall off the trees my yard is filled with leaves. I knew that having a lot of leaves in my backyard would make for a good picture. So I tried to position this well so that the glare wasn't to bright or to dark. I wanted to get the most leaves that I could get so that there was not a distracting background.
I really like this photo. I think it has an interesting tone and feel to the viewer with the idea of autumn instantly. I love the colors in the photo from the various types of leaves that are scattered all over the ground. I think with the colors of yellows, browns, oranges, from the leaves and the green from the grass settles a very interesting feel to the viewer. I think that having this wide selection of colors in the photo allows the photo to be more appealing and an interesting photo. I think without them it would lose its importance and value to the photo. The only thing I would change about this photo would have been to have taken the photo a little bit more to the right to avoid the tree sticking out of the ground in the far left and probably have moved the rock out of the view of the photo. Other than that this is a great photo, and it has a great meaning towards the season of fall that I like. Great work and keep it up!
