I took this portrait of my mom while we were in Newport Rhode Island. I like this photo because of how clear and in focus it is. You can see all the little details in her face. The smile lines and the little grooves in her teeth. I also like how you can see her eyes through the glasses. Usually glasses get in the way in photos, but here I think they add a nice touch to the photo. I also like the details you can see in her hair. The different shades of brown, and the different highlights.
I really like this photo! I love how the setting and background was in this photo. I like how detailed the subject of the photo is, and that the background is out of focus to allow all the attention towards your mom in this photo. With the ocean or water in the right corner gives it a great feeling for an interesting photo. I love the many different varieties of colors in this photo, because it allows it to be more vibrant and lively to the viewers perspective of the photo. The only thing I would have changed in this photo would have been to have moved back a step to take the photo so you would have gotten the top of your mom's hair in the photo so it would show all of the face and head in the photo, since the photo was taken of a head and face portrait shot. Other than that it is a really well done photography portrait. Great job and keep up the great work.
