I took this with my Nikon 40. This was in my dining room. I put my dad to the right of the chandelier. I like being able to see all the details of the light part of my dad's face. I didn't want the pictures to be too posed. So I wanted the pictures to look as real as possible. So that is why he is not smiling.

I really like the light of this photo,which makes a good shade on your father's face but still has left eye detail of the shadow part. And your father's expression looks very natural. Good job!
