I took this photo after the snow storm. I like this photo because the contrast of light top and sky of the dark bark and leaves. I took the photo with my D90. I also like how the all the trees are basically parallel and brings the eyes to either the top or bottom of the picture. Another thing that I like how the branches in the photo contrast with the trees' bark.
This photo is very nice in my opinion. I like that I know the snow is all one color, but it has a lighter yellowish color near the top of the photo because of the sun and a darker brownish color near the bottom. I think this transition from lighter to darker is very nice. I agree with what you said about the bark contrasting the lighter color. I think it stands out a lot which is a good thing in my opinion. I also really like that the sky is just a solid blue with no clouds interfering, or at least no clouds from what I can see, because I think this gives the photo a solid background and gives all the attention to the trees.
ReplyDeleteI like the light on the tree from the top of the tree. That makes the tree more colorful. And also, i like the position of where to take the picture. Because i think if you don't take the picture from the bottom to the top. It will not catch the view of the light. And if i took this photo, i will change the position. Because i will not just put the tree in this photo. I will also make some more view of the other things. Like the house around the tree or even the surroundings.
ReplyDeleteI really like this photo for a number of reasons. First thing I like about this photo is the contrast of light and dark lighting in this photo because it makes this photo have a half and half effect. I also like how the light source is reflected the most from the top half of the photo. My favorite part of your photo is the gold-ish sun cast on the tall trees because it makes your photo stand out really well. I also like how the ice and snow on the branches of the trees with the sun shining on it makes them look like they are made of gold, it also makes it easier to catch your attention on the main focus point of the photo which are the trees. I also think the lighting in this photo is pretty well because there aren't any extreme overexposed parts to your photo, which really boosts the nice natural color tones from the well exposed light sources. I also like that there are four different shades of color from a dark brown bark of the trees, well lit blue skies which are medium bright and the snow which is a bit brighter and then the brightly lit parts of the upper sections of the trees which are yellowish gold. I think with the many varieties of light ranges makes your photo interesting. I also like that your photo has a wide depth of field because you can see a lot of the different textures and details of the trees with the snow on them. The other thing I like about your photo is that you can't see anything behind the trees in the background because it makes your photo not distracting and easier to look at. The only thing I would change in your photo would be to show more of the branches on the trees towards the left and right corners of the photo because they're cut off. I think if you showed more of the branches to the trees it would look a little bit brighter maybe. Other than that I really like your photo. Keep up the good work.
