Mike_Odisi
This is a photo I took of Michael Healey. I took this photo in my apartment building when Mike came over. I really like the background on this photo because it's very light which is a good contrast because Mike is wearing a black jacket and black glasses and has black hair. I think this is a good photo but I do not like the shadows that there are under his hair, hand and glasses. Michael chose the position he is in on the photo because he thought the photo I took before this looked weird. This photo is also nice because you can see each eye brow hair and the hair on his face which I think is pretty cool even though he should shave. On the other hand the background and his arm are out of focus.

ReplyDeleteI really like this photo a lot. I think this photo has a lot of potential in it for many reasons. The first thing I like about this photo is the way you positioned him in the shot. I think that by having him on the left side of the photo makes it look more professional and interesting to look at for the viewer of the photo. I also like how when you captured this photo you also captured the patterns on the wall of your apartment. I like the lines of the patterns go towards Mike's face from both side of his head, with this being in the photo it pulls the attention to the subject in this photo which is Mike. I think having that in the photo is really important to the photo itself. I also like the lighting in this photo, the lighting isn't harsh and it is just right, which is good. I think that if it was harsh it wouldn't be as good of a photo. I also like how you got his face and eyes in focus, this allows the photo to be more in detail and have more quality to the photo. I like how you got him to pose like this, because it makes the photo look much more interesting as opposed to a photo that was taken straight forward. I also like how the background doesn't have anything in the way to distract the viewer from getting the fullest attention to the subject in this photo. The only thing I would change in this photo if I were to take this photo is to have gotten his whole head and hair in the photo and not cut any of it out of the view from the camera, it takes a bit out of the photo to the viewer. Other than that it is a great photo, very well done. Keep up the great work, you're doing great.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I tried to get the best lighting I could in this photo but Mike chose the position he is in. I will keep in mind to get all of the head and hair in the future photos that I take.
