I took this photo late to mid day in my dining room which has a fair amount of lighting. Excited that this is the one that my cat stayed still in, I decided to post this one out of about 7 or 8 others. The first thing I like about this photo is that her eyes are in good focus. You can even see reflecting light in them. The rug in the background is in good focus too as well as the details in the brown tiles. The only thing I don't like is that I wished I could have had my cat in the center but cropping didn't make the photo look any better.

I like how you captured the details in the eyes of your cat. There is a lot of emotion and detail that the viewer can see. I also like how there is a wide depth of field, it allows for more details and other elements into the photo. I also like the lighting because it is soft and does not take away from the cat, but it is overexposed in the bottom right of the photo which is a bit distracting. I suggest that you maybe crop the over exposed part out of the photo. I also wish you were able to get the whole cat in the photo and not just part of it because I think that having only half of the cat in the photo is a bit distracting. Other than that good job!
