I took this photo on the floor obviously. The lighting was facing the swish part of the mini basketball and there were a few windows behind the mini basketball in the other room which you can see on the wall and a little on the floor. So while having the face of the basketball be visible and bright, there is background light too.
I like the details you were able to capture on the ball. You can see all the different textures and details on the ball which add a liveliness to the photo. I do wish the depth of field was smaller in this photo so the viewers could only focus on the ball. Since the depth of field is large there are more distracting elements in the photo like the bars in the upper left hand corner. Other than that good job!
ReplyDeleteI like how you placed the ball slightly off to the side of the photo and adding a background that becomes more and more blurred out as it travel farther and farther back. Another thing that I like about the photo is how the word on the ball is positioned and everything is crisp in the for ground. Some thing that I would change about the photo is the railing on the left it seems very distracting.
ReplyDeleteI like how you took the photo of the ball and made it off center to the left. The ball is also in really good focus. I like how you can see the texture very clearly and how you can see the little holes on the ball. I also like the background of the photo. I can see it was probably taken in your house, I like how the ball is against whites and light cream colors, it makes the orange stand out more and look 3D. Nice job.
