I took this picture when I was walking around Boston. This location where I took the picture was near a highway. The reason why I like this picture is that the three different color groups with the blues in the sky, the dark greens in the trees and the light greens in the grass. How the picture is positioned vertically adds to the photo and I adds more depth as well.

  1. I also like the three different color groups that you mentioned but I think there is a fourth color because to me it looks like there is some purple in the photo too. But maybe it is just me and there is no purple in the photo. I think that the light blue color sky and light green color grass helps make the trees stand out more since the trees are a darker shade of green and some brown and everything else is very light tones. Good job on the photo. keep up the good work

    1. I looked at the picture when you mentioned about there being the color purple. I am very sure that there's no color purple anywhere in the photo, so it's either some weird glitch on your end or your computer has some visual problems. But onto your other half of your comment, I did like the fact of the darker trees contrasting with the lighter grass and sky.

  2. This is a good photo for many reasons. One reason is the lighting is really good. The sun glaring off of the grass is a nice touch to the photo. Normally that shadow would have made the photo look a little worse. But the shadow gives the photo a nice touch. I like how you included the sky in the photo. It let me know that it was a sunny nice day out. I also like how you got a lot of the trees in the photo.

  3. I like how this photo isn't retangular or square, it's a long shape that isn't seen much on the blog I don't think. I like the contrast of the colors and how the green at the bottom with the grass fades up to the green in the trees and then the bright blue sky. I also like how you can see some buildings in the back. It gives the photo more of a 3D feel. Nice job.
