Eric_Summer
I took this photo when I rode my bike back home from a bike trip, and I noticed these blooming flowers, which are the best sign of Summer. These purple flowers are on the mound by the roadside, I held my camera very close to those flowers in order to get a shallow lens field because I really like how the still life photo looks when the foreground and background both blurry, so that the main object on the photo will be highlighted with out too many distractions, and the blurry part will still gives enough information of where or when the photo was taken.

I like the focus in this photo. The shallow depth of field allows the viewer to focus on the flowers in the photo. I also like the colors you were able to capture. The different shades of purple contrast nicely with the different shades of brown on the ground. I also like the different textures and layers in the photo. I think the textures and layers add more depth and details to the photo. I also like the angle you took the photo from, the flowers are not directly in the center of the photo which allows for other details to be shown in the photo. The only thing I would change is the background, the cars in the background are distracting and take away from the main focal point of the photo.
ReplyDeleteI love the focus and how the dirt is lined up horizantilly perfect. The flower is the main source of attention but not in the sense that its in the middle of the photo. There are some nice colors in this and the derail is great!
ReplyDeleteI really love this photo for many reasons. First thing I like about this photo is how smooth the focus of the flowers. I also like how far you pulled in the aperture to tighten the focus of the flowers in the ground because it changes the perception and perspective of the photo. I also like how the completely focused section of this photo is in the far foreground and middle ground because it allows your eyes to look deeper into the photo. I also like the lighting in this photo because it isn't overexposed and it keeps the natural color tones of the purplish blue flowers aren't distorted. I also like how the bluish purple flowers complements with the bluish gray house in the background. I also like how the angle you took this photo at a low angle because it makes the ground look steep and tallish. I also like how the flowers in this photo are in crisp clear focus because it allows you to see the petal structure and the texture of the flowers clearly. I think having the foreground out of focus enables your eyes to focus more on the flowers rather than looking at the house and the car garage in the background instead. I also like how fuzzy the background is because it makes a sort of painting like brush stroke effect to it. I also like how the perspective line of the ground is straight and aligned perfectly because it makes the photo look interesting to look at and it keeps the perspective of this photo to be smooth. I also like how the flowers aren't all one solid bluish purple color. Some are more of a sky blue, some are more of a indigo and royal blue shaded color, this adds depth to this photo and also more of a color contrast which is really nice. I also like how on different parts of the flowers they change from a lighter blue to a dark shade of blue. The only thing I would have changed in this photo would have been to crop the little sprouted plant towards the left frame of the photo which is sprouting out of the ground because it distracts the focus of the flowers. I think if you cropped out the tiny sprouted plant on the left your photo would look a bit more interesting to look at and less distracting. Other than that I really like this photo. Nice job, keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteI really like this photo, the focus on this photo was really good, there is no distracting which was prefect, the focus on the flowers which can let see more details on the flowers, the background on this photo was really good, it adds more depth on these photo, I really like this photo, but if ask me what I want to change is the light, the light on this photo was a little bit dark, if you can adds more light on this photo, I think it can make this better even better, anyway, nice photo, keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteI really like this photo, the ficus on this photo is pretty much focused on the flower, And a little shadow in the back makes the photo to be more specific. I also like the way that you shoot this flower. That flower in the middle gives people a little bit more specific color and that makes those flowers to be more fantastic.
