I took this photo with my nikon D40. I saw my sister next to my dog. I told her to pick him up for a picture. I saw that it was a sunny day outside. I thought that the glare of the sun on my dog's hair would look nice. My dog kept squirming in my sister's hands. It took a while to get him to stay still long enough to take a photo. I had to put my camera on the setting where it cancels out the light. Because the picture would have been to bright. Once I did that and adjusted the zoom it came out to this.
I really like this photo. I really like this photo because there are a number of things that I find very interesting in this photo. The first thing that I really like about this photo is the lighting in the photo, it isn't overly harsh or overexposed in spots. Another thing that I also like about the lighting in this photo is how the majority of the light is reflected in this photo to the right side of the photo on the right side of your sister's face as well as the rest of the side to the right of the photo. I like this because it adds a touch of tone to the photo allowing a certain amount of light to be shown through this photo as opposed to a photo completely surrounded by light. Another thing that I really like about this photo is the focus in this photo, I think that you have the perfect amount of needed focus in this photo to allow both your sister and your dog to be in focus to enable them to be the main subjects in this photo. I think that by having them in focus helps keep the photo interesting to the viewer. Another thing that I like about this photo is the positioning in this photo, it is just right and I wouldn't change it all in the slightest bit because you were able to grab the fullest attention in the center of the photo. The only thing that I would change about this photo would have been to have gotten the vacuum out of the way in the right corner of the photo because it takes away a bit of the attention to the subject in this photo. Other than that it is a great photo. Well done and keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteI did want to get good lighting in this photo that's why I told my sister to sit near the window. I wanted the light to be on one side of the photo because I didn't want to force the lighting. The focus was one of my favorite parts of the photo. It came out clear and not blurry. I wanted the camera to be right in front of them so that the angle wouldn't look bad. And next time I'll take the distracting things out. Thanks for all of the compliments.
