Lara Dias- Sunday Post

This is a shot of one of my grandmas wilting roses. I was impressed with how close I could focus in on the flower and how bright the colors came out. I also like how it is the only thing in focus. I had to use the flash because without it the shots kept coming out blurry, shaky and the colors were dull. You can also see another wilted rose in the back.

  1. I like the picture. The colors look really pop and you focused kind of well. The red and green colors form a good contrast as well. It is a good micro photo

  2. I love this image! I love the shadowing between each of the rose petals and how all the different shades add more debts to the picture. I also like how the background is blurred so the main focus is only on the flower. And, ultimately I liked how the stem was slightly shown, adding more color and the essence of spring time!
