This is an image I took from inside my sisters room. My sister and I are very into Chinese culture and find ourselves in China town all the time. Last time we went she got these lights and I like how it adds to the overall design of her room. I thought this image allowed for the lanterns to stand out (against a blander background) and that there was just enough lighting present.
I like how the lanterns orange and reddish colors pop out against the neutral colors in the background. I also like that the windows are blurry behind the blinds which make it easier to focus on the lanterns instead of whats going on outside. They are off centered, which is a lot more interesting to look at as well.
