This is an image I took, overlooking the Boston Commons from inside a dorm at Emerson College. I toured Emerson and loved it but not just because of the school itself but also the location. Simply from one of the student dorms you can see the State House, the Boston Common baseball field, any event occurring that day, and you are essentially in the center of the city, at Emerson. This was taken around 2 on Saturday, with only the beginning changes of Fall revealing itself.
I really like this picture. I like how all the tones of the buildings match the leaves and the ground of the landscape. There is some movement in it through some of the people you see on the field and such, even though it is harder to spot. When I look at this picture, I can imagine the cold autumn air and the noise from the city, which is really cool to me.
