This is a portrait of one of my friends Jordan Bembe. Jordan is of a different ethnicity of me which portrays to the theme I have chosen for this project, under "Marian Diversity." Jordan is one of the many different people who are of a different race than me, at Marian High School, making this school so diverse. I believe I have even recently received an email from Mr. Ermelio stating that this school has received an A for diversity.
I like the highlight on his lips and fingers. They make the portrait more interesting. I can see the light comes from the window side and makes the wall on the back shining. I also think the person's skin and the background form a contrast. The fingers are blurred a little bit so it shows the face perfectly.
