I took this photo of a seashell in my seashell collection. I like this photo because of all the textures, that can be seen in the shell and the sand around it. I also like the focus in the photo because it is clear and focused on the seashell. It allows the viewer to focus on the main focal point of the photo. The thing I wish I could change about this photo is the lighting in the top left-hand corner. It is distracting and overly exposed compared to the rest of the photo.
This photograph is pretty good but it also could be improved in a few ways. In my opinion the focus could be better. I think it would improve the picture very much if the focus was on the top right corner of the photo because that looks like the most textured part of the photo. The texture is very nice but I think it would be even nicer if the photo was more sharp. The angle of the shot is probably my favorite thing. I think of shells from the front usually so to have this photo coming in from the back and the side and from the top I think is a good change of pace.
ReplyDeleteI like the amount of texture given within the picture and how there is sand particles around the sea shell. As well the sand color contrast with the white sea shell. Another thing that I like is that the lines of the sea shell are parallel and leads to the sand and then brings it back to the lines on the shell.
