Grace M Imagination

After taking photos at Wellesley college I had to go get my sister at St. Paul school. I was wondering around trying to find her when I came across this wall and door. Before at Wellesley college I got some photos I really liked of buildings, bridges, flowers etc. I looked hard for those photos whereas this picture just came to me. I like the amount of space. Its a very simple picture that has room for people to use their own imagination. I used to go to this school when I was younger and I never saw this part of the school, I always overlooked it, didn't think twice about it. Its the simple things in life we miss that can be the most beautiful. This may not be the vibrant photo everyone loves but look at the main color, dirty white with pieces of purple green and brown. When these colors are put together I interpret them as a symbol of peace and calmness. That will vary from person to person.

  1. I like this photo because you were able to capture all the different textures in the wall, door, and leaves. I also like how there isn't one main thing you are suppose to look at in the photo. The composition is very nice. The only thing I would change is maybe not have that pipe in the photo. It is a bit distracting. Once you see the pipe you cant really stop looking at it. Other than that good job.
