I like this picture primarily for the colors in it. I think without the little colored lanterns this photo would have been really boring. I took this photo at around 6 O'clock when there was still some pretty decent light but not as good as it was in the afternoon obviously. I usually take photos where at least half of the photo is blurred out and the other half is in good focus so this was a little different for me but I like how it turned out.
I like that the brightly colored light shades contrast against the darker fence. I think this makes the lights stand out more and makes the photo a little more lively. If this was my photo I would try to take the plant from behind the fence because I think it is a tad distracting.
