Cahines_Julianna close up

This is a close up photo of Julianna, obviously. I really like how you can see her freckles and how her skin is in really good focus. I also really like the highlights in the eyes, it draws in your attention. I probably should have done a little less cropping but there were way too many distractions in the background. Overall I think it came out okay.

I took this photo of my friend Peter after school. I asked him to stand under a roof to avoid the direct sun light. And because of the need of accessory, I gave him my glasses and asked him to make a serious expression. That made him look more like a scholar and I really like this feeling. But I forgot to add another little light source from his left, which can make more reflection of his eyes and make this portrait looks better.

I choose this picture because I  like how the lighting hits their faces, how the picture is framed the unison of white shirts, and how the faces are in the corners of the picture. The things that I want to change in the picture is that I have taken another picture without the hand in the middle and focused in more of the faces.

I took this photo of Jacob, Nick and Parker after school one day. It was taken from an above angle, with light coming from the left, they all have some kind of accessories and there is three people in this photo. This photo was taken in the study hall room with my camera.

I took this with my Nikon 40. This was in my dining room. I put my dad to the right of the chandelier. I like being able to see all the details of the light part of my dad's face. I didn't want the pictures to be too posed. So I wanted the pictures to look as real as possible. So that is why he is not smiling.

I took this photo with my Nikon Coolpix L330, I took like 7 photos and finally chose this photo, the reason why I chose this photo is that I like the focus which I can see all the detail on Teddy's face, his smile was really good, the light comes from left which it was really good, the light on Teddy face was not too much so it was really nice. The background was good too because it can show where the lights comes from.

I took this picture of my brother for the portraits. The lighting is to the right of the subject the camera angle is a little above and he has a hat on as an accessory, as the project was assigned. Some of the lighting is cut out due to the hat's shadow.
