This is a photo I took in December last year. Literally I spent a lot of time on managing it. In Chinese traditions, before the big fest, we have to eat some fruit and the clementines are one of the best choice. You can probably tell that there is light came from the top--That's my lamp. I also made one of the clementines in the front and the other back so that there is some depth there. Anyway, in my opinion, this is not as good as the jiaozi one, but it is still worthy posting.

Catherine Ning-Chinese cabbage
This is also a picture I took during Christmas. When we Chinese celebrate the spring festival, we eat cabbage because in Chinese, it sounds similar to the word "money". In order to make the colors good, I put some water on it. I also add some light to it so that it is well focused. I am quite satisfied that the background is blurred.
Catherine Ning- Christmas tree and balls
This is a picture I took in Natick Mall during the Christmas season. Again I took the picture from the bottom. It seems nothing special but I manage to have the three balls looks like a triangle, and it has depth there. And I also make the branches of the red tree attached to the green ball, which make the photo more interesting.

Lara Dias- Sunday post makeup
I took this image of a wine glass after setting the dinner table on Christmas eve. Once I uploaded it to my computer, I edited the image so that it would be in black and white. I like how it is focused on the wine glass, and how everything in the back is blurred. The fact that it is black and white also keeps the focus on the glass. I know that the unedited image might've been better because it has more vivid colors, but something about the black and white makes the image seem really sophisticated.

Kim Stuart-1/1 Sunday Post
This is an image I took yesterday in China Town. I find myself here in China Town very frequently and there is so much I like to photograph considering how much I love the culture and way of life here. I especially liked this design because not only does it work as a sort of advertisement, but it also is genuinely artistic and interesting as well.
