I took this picture of this plant in our classroom. The shot originally had a few distractions that I cropped out. What I like about this picture is how the green of the leaves stand out and the plant is more in focus than the rest of the image. The pictures in the background posted on the door are kind of distracting, but the pictures were taken of nature so they also kind of match with the plant. The white out on the side where the window should be also distract from the plant, but the light coming from outside was a really good light source.
I've always really liked this plant and I think you captured it very well! I agree with how you mentioned how nice it is to have the leaves so green and seemingly the same color all throughout. The solid green plant contrasts the multi-colored, busy, sort of back ground which I thought turned out very nicely. I also liked how there was a couple of highlights throughout this image because the picture was taken right next to the window.
