Odisi_MousePad

This is a photo of my new mouse pad. I bought it saturday and I really like it and think it is so cool so I figured it would be a good idea to post a picture of it. I like it because the mouse pad lights up in a wave of colors and the mouse lights up too. I like all of the colors and that even though the mouse is black the sides of it is still kind of visible because of all the lights.

Yuchen__cosplay

I took this picture long time ago, when I was in China. The man in the picture is my friend Jo,  we were doing cosplay in an animation show. I used my Canon to take this photo. I think this photo is well focused, we can find the details on the man's face. the light is very good too, no hush on the person's face.  i love anime, and also cosplay!!!!!!!!!!  I miss my friends in China. :(

AlexBrown_ NHS Induction Ceremony misc

I decided to choose this photo for my miscellaneous post for this week because I think this was one of my favorite photos I have taken for an event ceremony. I like this candid photo I took during the National Honor Society Induction Ceremony I was substituting for Mr. Barry and Mrs. Baril who couldn't make it for taking photographs for the ceremony. I volunteered to take their place and be the designated substitute photographer. I chose this photo out of the 200+ total photos I took at the ceremony because I think this was my favorite photo. I like this photo because it captures a happy candid rewarding moment of an new inductee member of the NHS receiving her NHS membership card by Mr. Ermilio on the stage. I likr this photo because the two important subjects in this photo are the inductee and the administrator handing out the awards. I like this photo because the focus is nice, the colors are balanced and the background behind Mr. Ermilio isn't too distracting because it is balanced. I had to use flash for this photo because the auditorium lighting wasn't too bright to capture this important ceremony. I think this photo is still great because the flash doesn't overexpose any of the people in this photo, which is critical for this type of photo. I also like the happiness in this photo because it adds emotion and feeling to this photo which makes this photo appealing. I also like this photo because it captures a bit of action with a stop motion of Olivia receiving her membership card and also about to shake hands with Mr. Ermilio. I think the most important piece of this photo is the excitement and joy in this photo and the crisp image quality of the people in the photo because if this photo was overexposed I think you would lose a lot of value in this moment. The only thing I wish I could change in this photo would be to not show part of someone else's leg in the right corner of this photo because it might be a little bit distracting for the viewer to concentrate on the award receiving moment in the ceremony.

Teddy_Perspective Flash

I took this photo a week ago during the school-time rainbow assignment using my Nikon D3200 to capture it. I took this photo of my brother while he was capturing a photo of me using the flash on his camera. I really like this photo because it shows a whole different perspective of an opposite view of capturing a photo. I think that by capturing at the exact moment he was taking a photo makes it a very interesting photo and gives the viewer an interesting feeling towards the photo. I took dozens of photos in this location while trying to capture a photo of him using the flash on his camera, and I was successful in this one. I love the glow from the flash, I think it is the most important feature to the photo because it gives the photo a lot of strength. I like how the background is not in focus and how the only thing this is really in focus is the outline of my brother. I also like the silhouette outline shadow of my brother taking the photo, it makes the photo a more intense and professional look to the photo. I also think the light coming from other sources in this photo from the window, the wall and the upper part of the open door because it makes it interesting a more interesting photograph. I used all natural lighting and no flash was used from my camera to capture this photo except for the flash that came from his camera. I think if I took this photo in a different location it would have lost the importance of the outline of my brother and his camera as the subject in the photo because it would lose the details of the various things in this photo which made this photo interesting.

Daniel_Grass

I took this photo by used my Coolpix L330, I was took this kind photo 10 times and finally choose this one, I like the focus on the grass, which that I can see lot's of details on the photo, also the light was really good, this photo was took on the outside of the school and morning, which was really good timing because sun came out just in time. The background the way I think was good, so I didn't change any of it.

great morning_jonny

I  took this picture when i was running this morning. I just want to say that the sunrise is pretty. Why? Because it make me to think of my home in China. When i think that everything in here is different . But when i see the picture, i will know that this also exist in China. So, i will feel better.

Little Tree_Julianna

I took this photo while I was out for a walk on Saturday. I like this photo because it depth of field is really small. I like how the focus is on the top of the tree and everything else is blurred out. I also like all the details you can see on the top of the tree. You can see the tiny grooves in the needles. I also like how you can see the tiny spider web that is wrapped around the needles as well. There is not really anything I would change about this photo, I like it the way it is.
