This is my dog Beni. I like the way he is looking to the left like it was planned that way. I also like this photo because it looks more dramatic in black and white. The background is sort of on the whole photo but the wooden panels on the left which is a bit distracting. Another distracting thing is the rope behind him. Overall I think this photo is kind of cool.
I agree with you, the rope is kind of distracting. But I think the panels, if angled a different way, would give the background more layers instead of a boring ground. But the black and white looks really cool, and I love the shadows and different shades of gray on your dog.
