I love nature photos, but I was particularly drawn to the way the bark on this log was coming off and coiling back. I really like the contrast and neutral colors in this photo. I just don't like that there are so many leaves covering the beautiful texture of the bark. I also don't like how shallow my depth of field is. Overall, it's not my favorite photo, but I still think it is strong.
I like this picture because the Browns that are in the picture. I also like the greens that you can see from the bark. And I like the crisp detail that is shown from the branches in the leaves in this picture.
