Yellow_Flavia

I took this photo of some flowers on a tree when it was sunny out. I took this on a 50mm 1.8 lens which makes the background of the photo very blurred out. Also I like how the flowers that are in focus are crisp and detailed. Another thing is the position of the flowers and how they are not centered in the photo but are slightly towards the right. The thing I think is distracting is the branch with flowers on the left portion of the photo. I cropped it out but I was not able to post it with this photo on the blog.

  1. I really like this photo because of how you were able to capture the flowers in great focus. Since they are in really good focus you can see all the tiny details in the flowers and I really like that, I think it adds a nice touch. I actually like how the flowers are not centered because it lets you see the clouds and branches in the background. They only problem I have with the photo is how the branch is cut off in the corner like you said. Other than that good job.

  2. The focused shot of the flower with the blurred background helps to highlight the yellow of the flower. This gives the photo a yellowish fading glow effect that lights up the image and gives off a happy feel to the overall photo.

  3. I really like how you managed to get such a great focus on the flowers, letting their color really be high lighted, and the blue background with trees only helps out the flowers. Maybe one thing I would change is the small indication of a flower on the left side, but that's easy to crop out
