Flower_Julianna
I took this photo of a fake flower my family uses for center pieces at our dining room table. I like this photo because of all the layers in the petals. I also like the color in the center I think it adds a nice touch to the photo than if the whole photo was white and green. I also like the different lighting I got because there was natural lighting from a window and also artificial lighting from lights above. I think they both add different textures in the flower and brings out the colors in the center. The only thing I don't like is the petal in the center sticking out but it would not move and if I took this from a different angle there would be distracting elements such as food and other table wear.

I like the subtle shadows between the petals. It gives the photo more dimensions rather than just one flat dimension. I also liked how you centered the middle yellow part of the flower. The white petals really compliment it.
ReplyDeleteI love this photo, but I see a few problems with it. The center appears to be out of focus, which makes it hard to tell if it's fake, and the petals have little detail. I like how the center is a little blurry, but I wish the petals were more in focus. In addition, I wish there was more contrast in the photo. The petals would look so much better and have a more dramatic effect if they appeared to be bright whites with heavy shadows, even if it means using the flashlight setting on your phone to get good lighting.

ReplyDeleteI really like this photo because of the diverse colors that you added to it, which really makes the center "pop". However, I do agree with Robin in that the center is a little out of focus and even a little off centered. But I do like the different shades of white that are in the photo, where it looks like they all blend into each other smoothly.
