I took this photo during a snow storm. The ice banks on my roof were beginning to melt and formed icicles on my front steps. I thought it was beautiful, so I took some close up shots of it. I love the lighting and the contrast is great. I love the angle of the photo. I also love the fact that at first glance, you can't tell what it is.
I like this picture because The contrast between the foreground and background creates a satisfying blend of color. and being able to see the change between the two forms of water changing from a solid to a liquid brings the picture to life
