Han Qin - Make up

I took these photos in Sudbury, for the first 3 photos they are at the same place,  the 1st photo if I took it without the branch will be better, for 2nd one, the house is a little dark so the picture is not looks that good, and 3rd one I think I too far from those gooses, but that's the nearest range that I could get.

P.O.V_Rosa

Picture #1: I liked this photo on how the light that comes thru from the hallway. I also like the low point it is in the screen and how there is a vocal point but there is one.

Picture #2: I liked this picture the most because this picture is a very low point but the vocal point is the seats and it looks like the thing is looking out for something or someone. I also like the over explosed light from the windows.

Rosa_make up

I like this picture because you can't really tell what it is. The glitter is zoomed in and zoomed out. It's from a poster board on a project that I did for Spanish. And I also like how the light is bright at the top of the picture but not too bright at the end of the picture. This picture around 4:00 PM.

Rosa_Mics.

I chose this photo because I loved the look of the tea. How it looked clashed on the left side of the picture. It looks like the tea is moving because how the tea looks like waves going in the cup. The ice gives the picture volume and jumps out of the photo.

Stream- Han Qin

I took this picture from the other town, I like the sunshine on the sonw and the water is looks beautiful.

Candles_Flavia

I took these photos of a lit candle and then I asked my mom if she could blow out the candle. I like these photos because of the way they show movement, especially the last two photos. The first photo is clear and in focus but I wish the other two were more in focus while capturing movement of the flames. Also I like the smoke that I captured in the last photo.

Wicker Chair (E.C)_Katie

I took this photo is my basement. I liked the texture of the chair a lot, matched with the smooth cushion on the chair itself. I also liked how the lighting made the chair look like a warmer brown than dark, which it actually is.

Unlit Lamp_Katie

I took this photo outside in my front yard. I liked it because the whole lamppost is in focus and the background is blurry. I also like the darker color scheme of black and gray, but the dark green wreath still compliments the photo.

Makeup_Katie

I took this photo of a blue bucket inside my basement. I liked it because the hook on the bucket is in focus, and the background is very blurry. I also like how the blue paint is chipping, so the photo feels a little more rustic. The only thing I don't like is how the entire bucket is not in focus (or at least not all of it).

Makeup_Katie

I took this photo of my sister's animals. I liked the photo because the focus is sharp and clear. There are a lot of bright colors that contrast against each other well, like the orange letters on the blue box, or Beaker's orange hair against Stitch's blue fur.  I even think the white curtain adds to the photo as well.

Julianna_Ornament

This is a picture of a little ornament hanging in my porch. I like the focus in this photo and how it is clear around the face and the cap of the ornament. I also like how the background is not really distracting. The only problem I have with this photo is the cap is cut off at the top, but I had to cut it off or the hook attaching the ornament would have been distracting.

Andrew_Car

This was a photo I took of an old antique at my house.  i really like this photo because its not looking at the subject head on, and is shown rather at an angle.  I also really like this photo because of the amount of dust and rust that managed to be captured in the photo.  the last thing I like about this photo is the lighting, mainly because there is a might brighter reflection of light shown in the upper part of the photo, and seems to carry over onto the headlight.  The only thing that I don't like about this photo is the small black spot in the upper right corner, but this was as close as I could get without having a distracting background.

Andrew_Doctor

I took this photo of a small statue of a plague doctor that I had in my room.  I really like this photo because of the highlights that showed up in the photo, as to me it adds a little bit more texture and looks more three-dimensional.  I also really like that the way I managed to angle the camera makes it look like his eye is looking down on the camera. The last thing that I like about this photo is the small amount of texture shown on his right side.  the only thing that I wished didn't show up in the photo were the small scratches on the paint.
I like this photo because you can see the white hair that is mixed in the black hair.

POV_Julianna

The first photo is a photo of a box I have with sequences on it. The sequences make up a cardinal. I really like this photo because of the focus on the bird design and the colors. The thing I would change is the background and how the beads are really light and blurry. The second photo is a photo of one of my cats. I really like this photo because of the depth of field. You can really see the different depths of everything in the photo. The only problem I have with it is the window being really bright.

P.O.V._Andrew

I took these photos for my P.O.V. Project. I really like how I managed to grab the detail of my P.O.V., with the exception of the 1st photo, which I wish would have come out better but none of the photos I took from that spot did. The only thing I would change about each of these is: for the 1st one I wish it came out clearer. The 2nd one I wish had more depth, and the 3rd one I wish I would have been able to get rid of the light patch on the right side.

Cupcake Madness_Flavia

I took this photo of a cupcake that we got a Cupcake Charlie's. The black space in the top right hand corner and the napkin piece below it were distracting so I cropped it out. I like this photo because of how the cupcake is centered. Also I like the sharp focus of the sprinkles and frosting. The background gives this photo a nice atmosphere because it is a single pattern and color.

Baxter_Happiness

I took this photo in the art room. There were layers of colored paper in a pile, so I took a few close ups of them. I really like some of my more abstract photos because when you look at it, you are never quite sure what you're looking at. This one might be quite obvious, but I think the composition is good. I love the upward direction of the photo, but I wish I had broken it up a little bit, like rearranging the paper so that a few strips are angled the opposite way. In addition, I don't like that you can see the end of a strip of paper in the upper right corner. I think it would be a lot more aesthetically pleasing up there were more of the ends showing, or none at all.

Baxter_PointOfView

I thought these looked abstract, and a little creepy. What do you think the point of view is??

Rosa_tubes

I like this picture because its hard to tell what it is. It's from the side and you can't tell it's test tubes. The white light looks really nice and the break up of the tubes isn't in the middle.

P.O.V_Katie

Photo Number One- I liked the crisp focus and the blurry background. It makes the photo have more depth. I also like how detailed everything in focus is.

Photo Number 2- The focus highlights details very well and the background gives the photo more depth. Also the lighting isn't too harsh as the shadows are pretty subtle.

POV_Flavia

This is the post for the Point of View project.
Hand: I like this photo because of the blurry background and focused frosted flake. Also I like how this photo sort of shows movement.
Tree: I like the colors in this photo such as the blue sky background and the green moss on the tree. Another thing I like are the front small branches are in focus and the further ones are blurry (depth of field).
Shoes: I like the composition of this photo except the shovel in the background. I wish that the lighting was a little bit better though.
Guess!

Baxter_A Bitter Winter

I love this photo because of the various textures in it. The contrast in the bark looks amazing, and I love how the clothes line was collecting snow. The only thing I don't like about it is that the snow on the rope blends in with the sky.

Baxter_Frozen Waterfall

I took this photo during a snow storm. The ice banks on my roof were beginning to melt and formed icicles on my front steps. I thought it was beautiful, so I took some close up shots of it. I love the lighting and the contrast is great. I love the angle of the photo. I also love the fact that at first glance, you can't tell what it is.

Shiny_Flavia

I took this photo at a store with jewelry all over the place. I like this photo because of the depth of field it shows by the front necklaces being in focus and the back are not. The highlights in the necklaces were from all the bright lights all over the store, which give the necklaces shape and shadows. I wish that I did not cut off the last part of the necklace.

Medicine bottle_Rosa

I chose this photo because I like the light in it. I also like the fact that you confused on what it is in away. I also like the fact that it's in off-balance photo, which means that the circle is not in the middle. Also like the focus of the photo. How the photo is focused on the main point the blurry around the sides.

Reflections_Flavia

I wanted to a take a photo of the sun setting at 6:00 but I thought that would be boring. Instead, I saw a puddle on the street and decided to take a reflection of the sunset and of the trees and snow in the background. I really like this photo because of the green rays of the sun in the bottom center part of the photo. Also I like how it is balanced throughout the photo. The only distraction (that I just noticed) is the blurry thing in the puddle, which I should of taken out.

Han Qin- sculpture, cosplay

I put these 2 pictures because i think they have nice focus, and the light is not bad, but about the second picture the light of back ground is red, so that made their face are a little bit dark, so if use the flash will be better.

Andrew_Illusion

I took this photo of dried candle wax.  I really like this photo because the camera was able to catch the flame of the candle to look almost like a ray of sun, allowing textures and colors to show up.  I also really like the texture of this photo, mainly because the wax looks almost like ice or has some bubbles inside.  The only problem I have is the bottom left corner, but getting this effect was a miracle as is.

Favorite Photos_Julianna

The first photo is a picture of one of my brothers. I like this photo because the background is not distracting, the blue sky actually adds to his blue eyes and cloths. I also like is facial features because they are crisp and in focus. The second photo is a picture of my back yard after one of the big snow storms we had here. I like this photo because of the layering, so it looks like the trees go on forever. I also like how I captured the trees and the snow on them because the snow adds a nice touch to the photo. These photos are two of my favorite photos I've taken so far this school year.
