I took this photo of my hat and my mother putting a dollar into the hat. Our class was assigned the words "Unexpected" and "Brash" so the first thing that came to mind, was an Unexpected act of kindness. I tried to stage the photo to look like a homeless person begging for money. I really like this picture because of how clear the dollar and some of the details of the hat came out. I also like the fact that I was able to only capture the hand and no trace of the coat. The only thing I hat about this photo is the background, but I really couldn't find a better one.
I like this photo because it does have to do with the adjective we got and you did a good job on staging the props in the photo. The only thing is the distracting background (which I know you said you couldn't find any other place to take the photo). Maybe shoot the photo from a more ariel view and get the white snow for the background.
