I took this photo in my living room. I liked this photo because the colors are very sharp and the focus on the record player is decent. I would change, however, the glare on the corner of the turntable and the very edges of the record player being cut off. Also this was my first time using editing on the photo, because this photo wasn't very good at first but every other photo I took was worse.

Winter_Julianna
I took this photo in my back yard after the snow storm we had. I like how I captured all the snow and little details in it. I also like the clouds in the background because I think they add a nice touch because they are big and puffy like the snow on the ground. I also like the different layers in the photo. You have the tree in the right corner then you have the trees in the center and you also have the trees way into the forest. I think the different layers add more to the photo because if I had only take an picture with a couple tree I don't think it would have looked as nice.

Baxter_Holy Lamb
I really love how bright this photo is, in addition to the great focus on the baby lamb and the tilted angle of the photo. Although it is obvious that these figures are simply part of a nativity set, I believe I was fairly creative in the positioning of them. I put the baby lamb in front to symbolize baby Jesus, often referred to as the Lamb of God.
Baxter_Abstraction
While in the art room, I decided to take some close up shots of what a horrible job people do of cleaning their palate. I like the diagonal direction of the photo, but I wish there was more blues and purples in it. The yellow paint stands out a lot, and almost disguises the identity of the subject matter.

Frozen_Flavia
We were driving in Sherborn where I saw these beautiful icicles on the side of the road in the woods. I like this photo because of how the icicles formed nicely and it looks like a waterfall. The lighting in this photo is good; it was a cloudy day. Another thing I like is the detail in the ice itself. I was bored so I started playing around with the settings of the photo. So I decided to make the photo more dramatic and make it cooler. By making it cooler it made the icicles become "colder"/ more blue.

Katie_Snow
I took this photo outside at night. I liked it because the texture in the hand in the snow is very interesting. I also like the shallow depth of field in the photo. My only complaints would be the front of the snow is not in focus and there are some harsh shadows.
Sunset_Julianna
I took this photo in my front yard one night when the sun was setting. I like all the highlights you can see in the sky and the different shades of pink. I also like the way I captured the clouds because they look big and fluffy. I wish I could have no cut off the trees at the top but I had to because there were power lines in the way so I could not get the whole tree in the photo.
Andrew_Lobster
This is a photo that I took of my lobster magnet. I took this photo because I wanted to practice shooting in the macro setting. What I really like about this photo is the highlights that come off of the magnet and that even some of the scratches showed up. I also really like the amount of depth that I was able to capture. The only thing I wished I could have improved on this photo is getting the logo in the bottom right corner out of the way, but when I tried moving the magnet to get a better picture the focus did not come out as great.

Baxter_Brash
To me, this photo fits the adjective "brash" because of the litter in the lake. On the bottom is a rusty, beaten up shopping cart. Behind it, at the bottom of the lake is a bike that was carelessly thrown into the water and abandoned. Overall, I think this photo is aesthetically pleasing because of the slanted direction of it, but I wish the leafs weren't obstructing the view.

Flavia_Woah!
I took this action photo of my dog jumping up into the air. This is a good photo for the adjective "unexpected" because of how high he jumped. I was just taking photos of him and then he suddenly started to jump so I tried to take a photo. I wish it was a little bit less blurry but it is very hard to get an action photo of a dog jumping. I also think that there is too much going on in the background but it was probably the least distracting.
Andrew_Unexpected
I took this photo of my hat and my mother putting a dollar into the hat. Our class was assigned the words "Unexpected" and "Brash" so the first thing that came to mind, was an Unexpected act of kindness. I tried to stage the photo to look like a homeless person begging for money. I really like this picture because of how clear the dollar and some of the details of the hat came out. I also like the fact that I was able to only capture the hand and no trace of the coat. The only thing I hat about this photo is the background, but I really couldn't find a better one.
Julianna_Brisk
I took this photo of one of my brothers when both of my brothers were outside throwing snow at each other. I believe that this photo represents the brisk because my brother looks like he is reacting quickly to the snow being thrown at him and ready to attack my other brother. I like this photo because of all the little shades of pink in my brothers face you can see. I also like how there are no shadows in the way of his face. The only thing I would change is the glove my brother is wearing because it is a bit distracting.

Frank_melting
I took this photo when I was making myself an English muffin. I took it out of the oven when the cheese is still half melted. I really like how the cheese is in the center of the muffin.

Close up_Flavia
I took this close up photo of an Italian dessert called Pignolata. I used the setting on the camera Program and I manually focused the photo. I like the light because of the highlights it makes on the honey. I also like the depth of field how the honey balls in the background are a bit more blurry than those in the front.
Andrew_Eye
I took this photo of my left eye the day before we all got out of school for winter break. I really like this picture because of the amount of detail and texture that I was able to catch beneath the eye. I also like this picture because of the highlights in the eyes and even the reflection of the camera and the classroom. The only thing that I would change about this picture is cropping out the eyebrow on top, but I'm still learning how to on my computer.
Julianna_Family
I took this photo on Christmas Eve at my grandparents house. This is a photo of my baby cousin and one of my brothers. I like this photo because I feel it captures the emotion photo persons are feeling and I like how I got both of them to look at the camera with there eyes open because it was very hard to do so. The only thing I would change about this photo is how it is a little blurry, but it is blurry due to the different lighting.
