I took this photo of my sister on Thanksgiving at a family friend's house. I liked this photo a lot because there are a lot of highlights in the eyes to make them look more alive, and the lighting is very subtle and even on her. I also liked how the dark tree contrasts well on her pale complexion.
I like how her entire face and hood are in focus and the background is out of focus. Her blue eyes really add a pop of color to the photo and compliment her red hair nicely.
ReplyDeleteI love this picture. you've got good, subtle highlights in the eyes. I also love that you can see her freckles very clearly. As for the background, I like the blurred texture of the tree, but I think the picture would be a lot more aesthetically pleasing if the tree filled the entire frame of the photo.
