Frank_teddy and fire place

This is a photo I took when I put my teddy bear next to the fireplace. One of the reason I like this photo is that I always took this teddy bear with me when I am traveling.
I took this photo on Saturday around 3:30 or 4pm. Love this photo because of how the sun is setting and how unrealistic the clouds look. The thing that I would change most about this photo is the glare in the middle of the photo with the windshield wipers in my car. Thing I love most about this photo is the clouds in the blue in the background.

Han Qin_ looking up

I took this photo from museum of fine arts in Boston, this is the hall way in the building, I like the light in the picture, you can see the inverted image of the tree on the glass, and the leaves made this photo not that monotonous.

Calm_Flavia

I took this photo at Lookout Farm. At the time the sun was setting and it gave out a pinkish/orangish color which shined on the the three flags. Also I like the angle of the flags that I took the photo in. There are very nice highlight on the top of the poles. I like the background and its blue gradient. The only thing I would change (but I like it this way too) is if the flags were waving from wind.

Andrew_Pine

This was a photo I took from my Christmas Tree.  I really like this photo because of the different shades of green and brown in the photo with some nice highlights on some of the tips of the leaves.  The thing I like most about this photo is the depth it provides, with it being blurry around the boarder of the photo and more in focus in the center.  The only thing I would change about this photo is the small patches of the wall peeking through.

Gore_Christmas Candles

I took this photo in my dining room. I liked this photo because the candles and the wooden table behind it give the photo a warm feeling and tone. I also liked the lighting as there are no harsh shadow anywhere.

Julianna_Candlelight

I took this photo in my room. My family and I put fake Christmas candles in our rooms. I like how I captured the little details like the dust on the bulb and the light in the center. I also like how you can see part of the lights reflection in the window in the background. The only thing I would have changed is to try to get more of the candle in the photo, but I could not because then there would be some distracting elements in the photo.

Baxter_Down The Rabbit Hole

For this picture, I was outside when I saw that an animal had dug it's home in between the bricks on my patio. I just thought it would make an interesting subject, so I shot some photos up close. I think the bricks frame the picture nicely and the leaves add interest to it.

Baxter_Tree Bark

I like this photo because of the great focus on the bark and the colorful flare on the tree. I was taking pictures in my front yard and decided to play around with the angle I was shooting from.

Caroline_flower pot

I took this photo on a really sunny afternoon outside of Marian. I like this photo a lot because it completely blurs out the pot and is focused on the green leaves and dirt inside of it. The only thing that bothered me was that the rim of the flower has a really sharp edge from no focus to in focus, but I decided to use this one instead of taking another photo because I really liked how in focus the plant was.

Han Qin_ Mall

I took this picture front the Natick Mall, the green and red made this photo balanced, the snow is the high light, and the light came from right side that made the fire hydrant has 3 different colors.

Baxter_Reflections

I took this picture back in October. I just love the diagonal direction of the photo and the great reflections in the water. Overall, I am very proud of this photo and would not change a thing.

Julianna_Babyplant

I took this photo at around one o'clock. I really like this photo because you can see all the different colors in the rocks surrounding the plant. I also like how you can see the little berries or buds that are on the branches. I also like how the branches are all around the same shape, so it adds a little something extra to the photo.

Rosa_Starbucks

I took this picture at Starbucks at 4:30 PM. I like the red coming through and I did edit the picture to have the colors pop. I like how the cups in the back were clear but the drink on the left bottom corner was blurry. It's a very simple photo but I still enjoy the scenery.

Frank_Peacock

This is the photo of a peacock I sale in Kenia. It was pretty annoying that he always make a lot of noise at night. I really like that his tail is opened and it dragged the attention to the body of the peacock.

Katie_Blue Eyes

I took this photo of my sister on Thanksgiving at a family friend's house. I liked this photo a lot because there are a lot of highlights in the eyes to make them look more alive, and the lighting is very subtle and even on her. I also liked how the dark tree contrasts well on her pale complexion.
