I took this photo of my cat on my bed. I like this photo because of how the cat is actually looking at the camera. Also I like how the background is blurry and the whole face is really in focus. The only thing is the background is a little bit distracting. I wish that it was only the grey color of the blanket all the way around or grey bottom and white background.

Andrew_Pie
I took this photo of the pie that was in Mr. Barry's room the day before Thanksgiving. I really like how the texture came out in the photo, both for the side of the pie and the top of it. I also really like the light reflecting off of the pie because it really shows off the texture. The only thing I would change is the bottom of the pie pan because I would have rather had no light from there rather than having the light reflect.

Robin_Bella
This weekend, I was with my friend, Bella. I was taking pictures of her posing with my guitar when I realized that they appeared to be a little forced. So, I told her to actually play so that she would look like she's having a good time. Some of the photos I got were very passionate, but others, like this one, were very upbeat and happy.
Rosa_light
I took this picture around 1:30 on a Saturday. I like the light coming threw the tree in the corner and I also like the color of the Harvard dorms. The sun makes the white pop. Also the greens pop out a lot in this picture.

Andrew_Dock
I took this photo from the back of Marian near the lake. I decided to take this photo because I wanted to test as to how far my zoom could go, and I wanted to see what was on the other side of the lake more closely. I really like this photo mainly because of the faint line on the water that almost interrupts the reflection from the sun, and the detailed rust of the dock (from what I could get from my distance at least) also adds a nice contrast to the bright blue. The two problems I realized after I took the photo are the line in the bottom right corner, and I REALLY wished that I could have focused more on the dock and not have all the other things in the background.
Julianna_Sunset
I took this photo at my aunt and uncles house when I went over for Thanksgiving. I like the way the sun brings out the colors in the far backgrounds and makes them pop. I also like the way I captured the clouds because you can see the little details in them.
Canary_Flavia
I took a photo of my canary and I placed him on the window sill in the indirect sunlight. I like how he is looking into the camera. Also I like the highlight in his eye which is coming from the sunlight out of the window. I edited this photo in iPhoto. I edited it by auto enhancing and saturating the photo. The only thing I would of liked was to see the tail of the bird but it was sort of hard to capture the bird still and not blurry.
Katie_Burning Flame
I took this photo in my dining room with a Canon Rebel t3i camera. I liked this photo because the flame lights up the orange candle and goes well with the dim lit room. The only thing I didn't like was the desk was a bit dirty and the specks of sharpie and markers and other stuff wouldn't wash off.

Windmill_Flavia
I took this photo as were driving over the Sagamore Bridge. I like this photo because it is a silhouette of a windmill of a Christmas Tree Shop. I did not realize that I took the photo with the truck's antenna in the way and all the powerless on the top of the windmill. So I decided to take out the power lines and the antenna (I'm still practicing on how to take things out of photos so it might not be as good). I also contrasted the photo in iPhoto and brightened the background a bit.

Katie_Orange Flowers
I took this photo in my front yard with a Nikon D60 Camera with an 8mm lens. I liked this photo because the orange contrasts with the white rock. I also liked how the lighting was very subtle an even on the flowers and the rock so nothing is over exposed or too dark.
Andrew_Closeup
I took this photo at Marian during Photography class. I really like how the different textures of the bird show up, especially the difference between the feathers and the beak. I'm really happy that I was also able to get a highlight in the eye of the bird, that way it looks more lively. The one problem I have with this photo is the blue in the window in the back, but at the same time it adds a nice diverse of color to the background.

Julianna_Yellow
I took this photo for my numbers assignment and I chose the adjective yellow. I really like this photo because of all the colors you get in the background. I also like how the Jesus statue is not exactly in the center. I like the angle its on. I also feel that the tree on the left on the edge of the photo adds a nice layer. I took this photo on a sunny afternoon during photography class.

Rosa_ Dirt and Shoes
This is a picture I took this Saturday with my friend. We are both wearing the same brand shoes so I thought it would be very nice picture. I like the way that the dirt is shown the rocks are very detailed and the footprints on some of the edges are very detailed layers. This picture was took around 12:30 in the afternoon. I did edit this picture because I thought it would be nice. The light is very very bright which I like, and I brought out the more darker colors from the dirt.
Tiny_Flavia
I found this this lady bug and I decided to take a photo of it on my skirt. I put this photo in the numbers project for my adjective "tiny". I really like the clarity of the lady bug and the blurred background and front part of the photo. Also I like the nice highlights on the lady bug. I would of liked to maybe take out the black in the background but it kind of shows depth of field in the photo.
Andrew_Sunflower
I took this photo while I was at a grocery store about a week ago. I chose this photo because I really like the amount of color that ended up being shown in the flower, and I loved how the texture of the petals and leaves showed up. I took a couple of different shots, mostly playing around with the zoom and slowly getting closer to it to see just how I wanted to get it. The one thing that bothers me and that I would change are the tiny hints of plastic surrounding the flower. To me it just takes away from the beauty of it.
Baxter_Radiance
I chose to post this photo because I like the flare created by the sun. This was taken in my front yard. I noticed the effect I was getting from the lens flare, and thought it looked pretty. I then played around with the angle of my camera. When I uploaded it, I didn't like how the horizon line was slanted down, so I flipped it horizontally.
Katie_Birch Trees
I took this photo in my backyard with a Nikon D60 Camera with a 8mm lens. I liked this photo because the focus on the branch and the leaves is very clear and the background isn't distracting except for maybe the tree in the background, but that was still the best angle I could have gotten it.

Julianna_Leaves
I took this photo while I was walking around my neighborhood. I really like this photo because of the way the light hits the photo. The light really brings out the color in the leaves. I like how you can see the little dots and lines on the leaves. I also like the shadows because I think they have a good effect on the photo. They add a nice touch to it. I took this photo on a sunny day late in the afternoon. I do not think I would change anything in this photo. I really like the way it came out.

Reflection_Flavia
I took this photo of two branches sticking out of a lake and there was a perfect amount of light from the sun. I know this photo is kind of strange because you do not really know what it is but I really like how the reflection came out clear and there are some other reflections of other trees in the water too. The only thing I would of changed was to get something a little bit better than these branches but there were too many trees in front of my view so I could not see the whole lake clearly.
Han Qin- Tree
I took this photo from the street near my home, the dark-red house turned grayish under the cloudy sky, the colors of grass, road, sky and house were all dull, the only bright color in the picture was on the orange leaves, also it is interesting that only half of the tree had leaves on it while the other half was totally bald.
Rosa_Milton
I took this photo in Milton on Friday around 3:30. I like the pop of green and the building is a nice as well. The blue sky has a nice picturesque look to it. The way the sun is coming in as well is a great look. The tree top left, nice layer. The only thing is-- is there is a sustain glare for some reason.
Katie_Fall Trees
I took this photo in my back yard using an 8mm lens with a Canon Rebel EOS T3i. I liked this photo because of the varying colors of green, red, and yellow along with the angle of light on the trees. I also like how the sky is very plain in color and that contrasts well with the bright leaves.
Caroline_flowers
This was a photo that I turned in a while ago. I took this outside my house after school so it was around 2 o'clock. I wanted to use this picture because of the great sunlight that day. I like this photo because the red and the green colors compliment each other and how it has a somewhat plain background. I also like how to red flowers are in focus and how most of the background is blurred out. The only thing I don't really like is that the green leaves aren't in a lot of focus, I think it would look a little better if I could see more of their details, but I would rather have the flowers in good focus than the leaves. Overall I like this photo and I thought it was a good choice.
Julianna_Halloween
I took this photo last weekend while I was taking photos for my final assignment for the quarter. I took this with my Canon PowerShot ELPH135. The weather was sunny with some clouds. I really like this photo because the oranges really pop with the darker green background. I also like the angle of the photo because it gives it a popping out type of look. The only thing I would change is to try to move the straw out of the photo, but if I did that then it would ruin the decoration.

Andrew_Tire
I took this photo in the back of Marian near the lake. I really like the wide variety of colors that managed to show up during this shot. I also like how the tire is in the back, but not entirely out of focus. The only thing that bothers me now that I've taken the photo is the random red line towards the right. I don't know how I managed to miss that
