"shape" makeup - lara dias

This is the picture I shot for the assignment "shape." This picture was taken in one of the hallways in the stairways. It is of one of the things that hold the doors open. I see a triangle in it, along with a triangular prism. I like how the light is hitting it and how the hallway was well lit. I just wish that the background was better, considering it is kind of dirty and the brick wall behind it isnt the most appealing.

Sunday Misc. Post - Lara Dias

This picture was taken on friday afternoon after school ended. Its a picture I shot of my friends Michaella and Bella. I like how they both have highlights in their eyes, and there is enough light hitting them. One thing I wish was different is the background, because its kind of distracting due to all the different colors and shadows.

The image I took shows 2 circular shaped bowls that are decorated to fit this Christmas Season. This is a table decoration that has glitter-covered pine cones and glitter-covered, wreath-like sticks. I like how the 2 circular shaped bowls compliment under each each each other, especially because it is a larger dish each other a smaller dish.

This is a zoomed in photo of my Christmas tree. There are many different shapes and sizes of ornaments; circular, square, and even in the shape of an old lady. I took this mid-day and liked how the different lights, both red and white, allowed for a different sort of scenery. I liked how the lighting reflects off the tinsel and highlights it in a way. Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year.

Catherine Ning-Shape

This is a photo I took in the classroom during class time. I poured my skittle candies on the desk and kneeled on the ground and shot it. I put the lens really close and got a good focus on the red one in the front. I think the picture well represents the topic "Shape" because the skittles have ellipsoid shapes and it reflects on the desk. However, I think I did not shoot really horizontally.
