I took this picture when my parents were here last week. They stranded in my room and smiled to me. I think that kind of visual helps me to think that they love me so much. So what i really think to take a good portrait is just to make a good vision of the main character's appearances. So i think this this the best one among my three portraits.

I took this photo during my photo shoot for the portrait assignment last week. I thought of the four photos I had for the assignment I thought this one was the best. I took this with my Nikon D3200 with all natural lighting and no additional lighting or flash. I liked the lighting in this photo and how the light comes from the left side of the photo and onto the left side of his face in the direction of the photo. I also like how he is the one in direct focus for the subject of the photo, if he wasn't in focus than it wouldn't be considered a portrait photo because the main subject is the person or thing that is being captured in the photo. I also like how the background on the left is blurred out and leaves a contrast of colors, this provides more light towards both Daniel and the wall outside of the window to cast light inside. 

  I took this photo before the sunset, for about 6:15 PM, the color of sky looks like purple. The shadow of the trees shows a lot of details. I like the contrast of bright between bright and dim of the light.

I took this picture during my last photography class.I took it with my Canon. I decided to take it because i think is really important to remember all the good thing that someone has done in the past. This was a "marian pride" moment. It is a old moment so i decided to edit it with black and white effect that for me help to think at the past.

I ttok this picture a few days ago and got some pretty interesting lighting. I really like this picture and how there are little distractions. My favorite thing about this is that the leaves in the front are in good focus but also have great lighting on them. The small twig in the front also adds a nice little pop of color. It adds in some red tones along with the browns and obviously the greens. Even though there aren't many colors, the ones that are there really stand out.

I took this picture when I was hiking at Mt. Holyoke area. I like this picture because the amount of levels of depth within the picture and the contrast of the green forest and orange and brown leave path.

Eric_Toy world

I used the "toy effect" mode of my camera to take this picture, which made the objetcs on this photo looks like model toys. The principle of this effect is pretty easy: by blur the background, make the photo's depth of lens field looks really shallow and looks like is taken by the macro lens. The automatic saturation increase of this mode make the obejcts more bright just like toy.

Alford_birthday cake

 This was my birthday cake. I took this with my nikon 40. I wanted the candle to be lit in the picture so that the glare can go on the cake. I wanted the top of the cake to glow. I wanted the rest of the cake to be a little darker then the top. I didn't want it to be to light on the rest the cake because it would be hard to read the letters.

I took this photo of my sister. I like having the up close shot with her eye being the main focus but she refused to take out the headphones. I realized that just adds to the photo as her being a typical teenager.  I also like it better in black and white.

I took this photo during photography class, while working on my storyboard project. I like this photo because the focus is clear. I also like how I was able to capture the rain drops on the leaves. They are in focus and you can see all the different shapes and sizes they are. I also like how you can see the different textures in the leaves, and the little grooves they have. I think the texture adds more to the photo because it makes it seem more lively.

I took this photo in the afternoon, this is our biology teacher, she was working, at that time. the reason I post this photo is because the light in this photo is very good and the background in this picture is good, and  it can point out my topic which is "the teacher is still working after school, she has a strong sense of responsibility." when I took a picture i think that a good picture is not depend on the camera work, I am more pay attention to the emotion of the picture.

I took this photo in the backyard of my home, I took five of these photo and I decided to chose this, I like this better because first I like the background, it is my host mom's yard, she plant lot's of fruit there, second is I like the focus and detail, you can clear see the details about the flowers, and the focus, I focus on two live flowers and one dead flower, because I want to show that live just like the flowers, when it comes to a end, it's like the dead flower.

Teddy_Misc Hallway Run

I took this photo on Friday afternoon after school during my photo shoot for the storyboard project. I shot at least a few dozen photos for the project but only used the six that I thought were best for the story. I took this photo with my Nikon D3200 and like the silhouette of Alex running in this photo, it makes the photo very dramatic and suspenseful to the viewer. I liked this photo so much that I chose to make an edited version of the photo in black & white because I liked the lighting in the hallway from the original color version of the photo. I liked all the light reflection that were casting on the floor, walls, lockers, and windows that I found having the edited version to go along with the color one would capture more of the different light reflection that were shown in the photo. I also like the low lighting from the ceiling lights, which made it more of an interesting look to the photo. I also liked how you can Alex's reflection of his feet on the shiny floor as he was running in this photo, which made it look somewhat symmetrical like a reflection from a lake or a pond. I thought this was one of the best photos that I had captured during the week.

AlexBrown_Misc_Noah Miller

I decided to choose this photo for this week's post because I think this photo was an interesting photo. I liked the variety of color in this photo and the complementary colors with Noah's hair and the wall because it contrasts the color well. I cropped this from the original photo because you could see in the left of him the fire alarm lever which I found too distracting. I think the most interesting part of this photo was the view from his glasses because you can see everything he sees from his point of view. I also think this photo is cool because even though he isn't smiling he still looks cool posing like a celebrity. I also love the lighting in this photo because it isn't too harsh and the colors are almost completely balanced except for a tiny bit in his left lens of his sunglasses where you can see bright sunlight on the floor of the hallway through his glasses. If I were to change this photo I would have liked to position Noah away from the locker because it makes this portrait a little bit too distracting. I took this photo on my Nikon D3200, during spirit week on twin Tuesday with natural lighting, no flash, and with auto adjustments.

This is my dog. She loves having her picture taken.  I sat to play with her on the floor and she started licking my camera so I decided to take a picture of her. I like this picture because she is focused and the background is not. I also think it's cute that she's looking back at the camera. I took this about five minutes ago.

So I found this in ms. Baril's desk and I thought it was cute so I took a picture of it on the first day we actually did stuff. This photo was in my Look What I Found folder in my USB drive and I just took it from there and put it here. I think its cute because I like stuffed animals .

Cahines_Tree Branch

This photo is probably my favorite photo that I took all year. I like how I was able to blur our some stuff on the ground in the background so I didn't have to crop as much. I like how you can see different pieces of bark on the tree. You can even see some of the broken pieces if you look closely. The color scheme is kind of plain but I don't think it looks too plain because of the different shades of brown not only on the tree branch but in the background too. Definitely a favorite.

Alford_pumpkin patch

I took this at the pumpkin patch on my family's yearly tradition to pick out pumpkins. I took this with my nikon 40. I thought this was a good picture to take because the sun was in the perfect peak at this point in the day. The pumpkins were a good touch to the picture. They were in the perfect position. The trees in the background were good because they add more color to the picture. The sky in the background looks very good also.

I took these photo in Bear brook state park at Allentown,NH. The person in these pictures is my friend Druom, she is very pretty and nice person, she also likes taking picture. she looks like just 20 years old now, but she already 38!!!!!  and already has two sons!!!, i think the picture composition is very good, i did not let the Druom in the middle of the pic, because i think it can make the pictures more nature. and the light of these photos is good, the nature light plus the nature smiling which make the pictures have more happy sense. i like nature things how about you?

AlexBrown_Tug of war

I decided to choose this photo for this weeks post because I like the candid category of this photo. I like that everyone is focused on the excitement of the outcome of the tug of war with the juniors versus the seniors. I like how nobody is looking at me in this photo because it doesn't disturb the candid victory the seniors had in the tug of war finals. I like the action of the students throwing their hands up in the air because it makes this photo entertaining to look at. I also like the happy presence this photo reflects because it makes this photo interesting. I think if this photo wasn't too intense and wild the photo would be too mellow. I like how everyone is almost in complete focus and the depth of field is large because it captures all of the action together from up close to the very distant subjects of the photo. I think this photo has great feeling to it because it captures happiness. I took this on my Nikon D3200 at the tug of war at the pep rally with natural lighting and no flash.

I enjoyed my time in China town in Boston yesterday. And before i had them.I think i should take a picture of it. Why do i say that? Because i think this picture represents my country's traditional. So, i also miss it so much. I wish you guys may also feel comfortable about it.

I took this picture when I was looking for pictures of look what I found project. I crop the top part of the picture where it contained the roof of the over ledge. I wish that the person on the left was not there and the other stuff in front of the stage. But other than that, I like how the stage is centered and practically everything is symmetrical. Another thing that I like were how the chairs get smaller as they become farther and farther away and lead to the stage.

This photo was taken earlier today in my kitchen but you can't tell that from the picture itself. Theres no flash and I like how the fire is on both the bottom and the top of the stick. The color is orange and theres only a solid color in the back. I was transferring fire from one place to another and thought it looked cool to take a pic of.

Teddy_Pie Eating Contest

I took this photo during the pie-eating contest at the pep rally on October 2nd with my Nikon D3200. I thought it was one of the best photos that I took of the 50 or so photos from the contest. I love it how both Mo and Briana are the only ones in complete focus and that the people in the background are blurred and not in focus. With Briana and Mo being the only ones in focus grabs the fullest attention of them as the main subject, preventing any major distractions from taking away the attention of both Briana and Mo. I used only natural lighting that was taken from the gymnasium lights and the sunlight which also gave the gymnasium more of a light, and no flash was used. I wish that I waited to get the person out of the photo before I captured this photo, but I think that other than that I thought this was among the best of the batch of photos that I took.

I took this photo while I was apple picking with my family. I like how the apple is not in the very center of the photo, I think it gives a nice perspective. I also like how you can see the different textures in the apple and the leaves next to it. I think that it adds more depth to the photo. The only thing I wish I could change about the photo is the leaf behind the apple and how its dead. I wish I noticed it before and removed it from the branch before I took the photo.

I forgot my camera at home and I won't be back until Monday night so I took this picture with my phone. I decided to take a picture of this because I like that there's a building in the back with Spanish influence which is very pretty to me especially since the buildings back in Massachusetts are boring to me since I've lived my whole life there. I also like the texture of that tree because it looks like it spirals around the tree. Also palm trees are just very pretty.

Cahines_fisheye flower

I wanted to post this photo because I got some really good light today. I took this at around 11:00 and it was partially sunny out, even though it wasn't a clear day the lighting was still good in my opinion. I really like how the white flower is the absolute only thing in focus. It's really close to being right exactly in the middle so it almost makes the photo look fish eye. If I were to have done anything different I would have maybe gotten some more green in focus but this was something a little different to try and I think it came out okay.

I took this photo used my Nikon Coolpix L330, I took this photo during the photography class, almost took 10 photos of this but I finally decided to choose this photo, because I like the focus on this photo, you can clear see the water on the wood, and the details are very clear to see too, this is the best shot I got on all of my other photos of this, it looks really cool.

This picture was taken at night during the eclipse. I like how the picture is centered and has a red glow to it. The think that I wish I could change about the photo would be to get rid of the over exposed part and the light reflecting into the lens.

Eric_Halo of God

I found this statue of Mary in a backyard of my friend. It was late in the evening, the light was so dim that I must use long time exposure. When I check the photo on the camera, it shows a strange light halo around the statue which attracted my interest. It enlightens me that long time exposure will help me to get some cool photos with special light that I can not see.

Now a days all we do is sit on our devices on social media. Obviously our devices need to be charged weather thats a phone, laptop, or even t.v.s can be used as a game. This shows something we use on the daily basis. In this photo you can see the shadows of the chords mostly on the left but some on the bottom chord and the blue chord is very vibrant compared to the others.

I spent hours at my moms office and I did several videos in this section such as the asl ice buket challenge but I never took a photo of it. I like having the light be on the other end and only at the end of the ally. The light reflects off of some of the bricks and then the door is just plain dark. the closer to the center of the photo the brighter it gets.

I took this picture of a flower I found while I was on a walk. I like this photo because of the different colors you can see in the flower and how it is in focus. I also like how the flower is not in the very center in the photo. I like how I captured the side angle of it. The only thing I would change is how the whole flower is not in the photo, but if it was there would have been more distracting elements in the photo, like houses, cars, and branches.

Teddy_Misc Capture The Flag

I took this photo during the pep rally on Friday with my Nikon D3200. This was captured during the capture the flag event. I love it how everyone else is in motion and are out of focus because they were running. I like it how Johan is the only one in complete focus, this draws attention to Johan because he is the only one who is clearly visible. This makes the photo very interesting and gives the feeling of the photo very professional. All natural lighting was used in this photo and no flash was needed to capture it. This has to be one of my best action shots yet so far, which is why I picked this photo to be my miscellaneous post for this weekend.

AlexBrown_Misc_Pre-Lunar eclipse Moon

I took this photo last week on the night of the lunar eclipse super moon an hour before the eclipse started. I took over 50+ photos with different shutter speeds to try to balance the harsh light exposure. I like the top photograph because I was trying to focus the lens and for some reason it turned into a really cool shimmery foggy glowing shine of the moon which I think makes this photo awesome. I also like the bottom photo because I like that the bottom one isn't out of focus at all and it is centered perfectly. I took the bottom at a shutter speed of 1/3200/sec on my Nikon D3200. I also wish I took a photo of my house being shadow casted by the strong light of the super moon because it almost looked like a cosmic searchlight beaming on my house. Unfortunately my camera couldn't capture the  light reflection of the moon on my house because it was too dark. I also love taking photos of the moon and these by far are my favorite photos I have ever taken on my camera. I like the contrast with gray/white over black in this photo because it doesn't have any distractions of any sort in these photos which makes them awesome.

I took these photos on school bus, when the volleyball teams are in the way to school.
(6:00 PM) At that time, we ware eating for our dinner,we played the game with other school.
though we won, we were really tired, the girl in the photos is Atheona ,my friend in

I also edited the photo with an application that allow me to make all the photo black and white instead of the part which interest me to point out and this time it was the american flag.

Daniel_Blood Moon

I took this photo at my home on September 27, I took like 40 of these photos, it is really hard to took it because of the shake and it is very dark when I was taking the photo which I can't get a clear focus, I use my Nikon Coolpix L330 camera to took the picture, I chose this one because I think it is the best shot I got, the dark area looks cool and it looks very clear to see the detail about the blood moon.
