I took this photo of a tree in my neighborhood.  I really like this photo because of the shapes, which are leaves, that are constantly overlapping each other, actually creating the shape of a tree.  I also like the lighting in the photo, as it really does help make the tree seem more like a silhouette.  Something else I also like about the leaves is that they add a sort of prickly texture to the tree.  The one thing I would probably change is maybe trying to find a place with more than one tree and no other distractions, but I also like the single tree at the same time.

I took this photo of a flower in my neighborhood.  I really like this photo because of the vast amounts of different shades of purple and blue shown in the photo.  I also really like that there is some form of depth in the photo, with it being more focused in the back and more blurred in the front.  The last thing I would like to say about the photo is that the small little "frills" on the petals add some texture to the photo.  The only thing I wish would be different is the background being only one color, preferably green.

Andrew_Peekaboo the Pug

I took this photo of my pug, Peekaboo.  I really like this photo because of the really intense texture shown on the nose, and the different colors that are shown throughout her face.  I also like that both the silver ring of her collar and the reflection in her eyes add some depth to the photo.  I also like the whiskers that are on each side of the face, as to me that put more detail into the photo.  The only thing I wish I could change is maybe cropping out some of the edges, but this was the best photo I took out of many, and as stated before I do not have a great editing tool.

Andrew_Signs

I took this photo of my street sign.  I really like this photo mostly because of the background's mixture of warm and cool colors. To me, the background is what really helps the subject matter of the two signs, as it sets a mood for the photo that no other time of day really can.  I also like this photo because of the angle that I got the signs, one is nearly head on, while the other is taken at an angle, adding some depth to the photo.  I also really like this photo because of the small but visible highlights in the stop sign, adding some texture to the photo.  The only thing I wish I could change but can't is if the sky was a lot more clear.  To me, the clouds are very distracting.

EC Summer_Rosa

I like this picture because the sun/light in the picture. The patio area in the picture gives a nice vibe to the picture that shows a comfy cozy feeling of summer. The colors from the plants give the picture a pop of color as well, which I like that shows the summer coming.

EC Copley_ Rosa

I chose this picture because this picture has great light and the church in the back. I took this picture in Copley around 12 pm. This picture has my brother and me in it. I like the clouds in the corner and also the dark but bright colors in the picture.

Lights_Rosa

This is one of my favorite picture that I took this year. This picture may look blurry but I absolutely love what I captured in this picture. The night I took this picture it was raining, but the buildings in the background with the lights I think look perfect and the trees have lights on them too. But I got this glare from all the lights which I think is beautiful because this gives the picture extra light and layers.

Shoes_Rosa

I like this picture because the blacks and whites from these shoes really pop out. The light in the picture is not it bright but not to bright. Also the time I took this was around 1 pm and all this light was from the windows.

Harvard_ Rosa

This is a picture I took when I was passing Harvard one Sunday around 2 pm. I like the mix of blues in the sky and shadows from the trees. The trees bring out the different greens in the picture. I wish that there was more light so that it would be brighter though and you could see more details in the building.

Redsox_Rosa

I like this picture because I felt like I captured a lot in one picture. This was at a redox game around 4:45. I like how I got a lot of the fans in the seats. I also go the buildings in the back for extra layers and the clouds with the sun trying to come threw really completes the picture with beauty and light.
